Recommended Read: Lioness Arising, Lisa Bevere

Awakening the Lioness Within

I believe we are in a very interesting time period.  I do believe this is the time for women leaders in the faith to rise up like never before.  

We see people "in the world" trying to do it but I don't believe that's going to be sustainable and I think a lot of it is not about women's empowerment.  

I believe that in this Upcoming Shift women will have roles like never before.  I am proud to attend a church that was founded in the 60's by a woman named Violet Kiteley.  She was amazing.  I never got to hear her preach but the legacy she left and the local body of believers she founded speaks for itself.  It's still thriving and having massive impact locally and globally.

I believe women like Dr. Violet Kiteley were previews of what we are going to see in this next big shift and move of God.  Make no mistake about it...it's coming and we will need fierce Lionesses to protect their families and their communities.

This book is alluding to that time as well.  I've heard about a rising of the Divine Feminine from others and I would say that everyone is sensing the same thing.

We've totally gotten out of balance in the past 50 years and we're in the midst of chaos and confusion.  Women are tired and burned out from trying to be too masculine and Men are lost and dysfunctional because they don't know what they're supposed to be doing.

It's time for Women to Awaken

I love Lisa's Message in this book:  It's time for women to stop hanging back and silencing themselves.  It's time to fight.  It's time to fight for your family.  It's time to fight for what is right in the world.  

It's time to fight for the church to be what it is supposed to be. 

Lisa says

" But far too many in the church have allowed the present motion to rock them into an uneasy sleep or to agitate them into arguing about what does not truly matter"

It's also time to fight for women who can't fight for themselves.  

"Our world needs women who will give their voice on behalf of the oppressed everywhere.  This means being at ease with all we were created to be alongside one another"

In the book she tells great stories of going to visit brothels in other countries and speaking to sex trafficking survivors.

For such a time as this...

This book is a Must Read for any woman who proclaims to have faith for such a time as this.  It's time to awaken Sisters!!
