Pandemic Chronicles: #1 - We Don't Want to Be passed by

It looks like this Confinement and Shutdown is going to last another month or so.  As of right now it looks like we will be confined for a good six weeks but it will probably be much longer.

I believe that this pandemic is a spiritual event.  

This is the Great Awakening of the 21st century
This is the event that sparks the Great Revival of the 21st century

With that being said as God is pruning in this season, I keep telling myself 

"We must hear the voice of the Lord and we must obey him because We don't want the Lord to pass us by. We don't want to be left out of what he's doing in this hour on the Earth."

Before all of this the Lord had been speaking to me about pruning.  You prune away the superfluous and the unnecessary in many cases to have growth.  

I was thinking about something else...I didn't know this is what he meant!

The Lord is Pruning.
He's cutting away what is unnecessary so we can have unprecedented growth

We want to be open.
We want to hear what he's saying and what he's telling us to do
We want to be able to see in the spirit because we have to walk by faith and not by sight

The world is saying one thing and it's mostly doom and gloom.
The people of God may be different even if it comes at the expense of looking crazy or drawing the ire of the world.

Who cares?  The world's way is sinking sand and we're seeing the house of cards fall.

This is my first blog entry specifically to what God is saying during this pandemic

I'm stating firmly that we must walk by faith and not by sight (2 Cor 5:17)
We don't want to be passed by
